What is Bore Welding?
Bore welding is exactly what it says, welding inside a bore using a special machine to increase the bore’s internal diameter back to its original factory size so the pin fits snug and correctly. Bore welding is usually used in conjunction with line boring.
Commonly used on front-end loaders and excavator buckets to correct slippage, in South Florida it is also used a lot in the marine industry.
